“After coming in with virtually no film experience or knowledge, the Film Partnership of NC through the IATSE RIDE program really gave me a well-rounded understanding of how the industry operates. I came in wanting to get into sound but after the master classes I found other departments, like video assistant, just as interesting. It was so helpful being able to learn firsthand from experienced technicians in each department. After the classes, we got to create our own mock film setup which was outstanding fun. Overall, the Partnership and the RIDE program gave me great experience and it helped prepare me for a career in film.”
